More and more pet owners are using the services of professional pet sitters to take advantage of the benefits in-home pet care provides.

• Pets are happier and experience less stress at home.
• Diet and exercise routines are uninterrupted.
• Travel trauma for both owner and pet is eliminated.
• Pet’s exposure to illness is minimized.
• Untrained or unwilling friends/family/neighbors need not be called. Most people are busy and may not be able to devote the time and attention your pet(s) may require.
• In-home professional pet care provides added peace of mind.

Each client is special and has different requirements.  Typically, dogs schedule three to four visits per day and cats schedule one to two visits per day.

Payment is due upon arrival of my first visit of pet sitting services.  Payment is to be left in a designated spot that has been determined and discussed by pet parent and pet sitter prior to travel. Forms of payment that are accepted are cash, check, and Venmo. If choosing Venmo, payment will need to be completed at least 2 days prior to your departure date.

• Due to the exclusive nature and limited availability of IN-HOME OVERNIGHT STAYS, operating as a solo sitter, Sweet Souls Pet Care requires a 50% non-refundable deposit/cancellation fee upon booking for dates to be held. Once I accept your service request and receive your deposit, all other In-Home Overnight requests are turned away.
• The remainder (Total Cost 50% Deposit) of the service cost for IN-HOME OVERNIGHT STAYS is due two days prior to your first scheduled visit.

A handling fee of $35 plus bank charges will be charged for all returned checks.  All fees are due promptly and must be paid by money order or cash only within five days.  

• A minimum of 3 visits per day are required for households with dogs. 
• A minimum of 1 visit per day is required for households with cats

Holiday Policies for ALL PET SITTING SERVICES: 

• Due to limited availability, a $75 non-refundable deposit is due for all Major Holidays upon booking services and is applied towards the final bill.
• $8 surcharge per visit on the day of listed holiday.
• $25 surcharge for Live-In Overnight Care on the day of listed holiday.

Yes, your pet(s) must be current on their rabies vaccine. Sweet Souls Pet Care, LLC requires proof of pet(s) rabies vaccine prior to pet sitting services.

I will pick up your key during our initial free meet and greet.  Most clients prefer to keep their key on file where it is kept in a safety lock box. This enables emergency visit(s), short notice visit(s), and accommodation of future reservations. A key should still be provided as a backup to garage codes, openers or keyless entry. There is a fee of $10 for key pickup and a $10 fee for key drop off to cover gas and time.

Once service has begun, Sweet Souls Pet Care does not give refunds or credits for owners returning home early. Business may be turned away because the time has been reserved for your pet’s care.

Pet sitting hours and days are determined by each clients request. I want to keep your pet(s) routine as close to what they are use to. This will be discussed in a phone call consultation.

SSPC services 7 miles within 76182 and uses google maps.

However, if SSPC has availability, we will service up to 2 miles over 7 miles each way.

There is an additional mileage fee on top of visit rate of $1.25 per additional mile.
